Groundbreaking Summer Camp for Children of Filipino Alumni

From 20 to 28 April, the Filipino Alumni Association of Fukien Secondary School organized “the First Summer Camp for the Children of the Filipino Alumni” in Hong Kong to enhance the children’s understanding of our School and strengthen their sense of belonging to FSS. The camp was proposed by the Principal Dr. Lam Kin Wah, supported by the School Supervisor Mrs. Wong Chow Kuen Kuen and the School Management Committee.

S1 Adventure Military Camp

From April 10 to April 12, all S1 students, under the coaching of S1 class teachers and the instructors of the training institute, participated in the military training camp for three days and two nights. The training allowed our students to have a flavour of hiking at Hok Tau Reservoir of Fanling and interesting adventure activities to tape their potential. Read more...

S.4 Work Experience Placement Programme

During the All-round Learning Week, FSS has successfully launched an innovative Work Experience Placement Programme for our S.4 students. In the Programme, 113 S.4 students went to over 36 different workplaces for 4 days of work experience placement. Participating companies include a wide range of commercial companies, medical center, retails, Education Bureau, University of Science and Technology, social enterprises and community service organizations. Shanghai East Experimental School Visited FSS

Hong Kong Physics Olympiad Competition, organized by Education and Manpower Bureau, was held on March 17 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. FSS ranked sixth in the group competition and won the Best School Award. Li Kin Hei of 4F was the second runner-up and gained the Outstanding Performance Award and the First Honour. Cheng Chun Hin and Ng Tung Ho, also from 4F, were awarded the Merit Awards.
From April 12 to 13, led by teachers Ms. Chan Lai Tak, Mr. Mak Lam Sing, and Mr. Lam Wing Lee, the Social Science Panel took all S2 students to Pearl River Delta for a 2-days-1-night trip to visit historic spots there and to understand their urban land use.
Our F.4 students have spent a wonderful Easter holiday at the Lady MacLehose Holiday Village in Sai Kung.
